Wednesday night (aka Thanksgiving Eve), from 8pm until midnight, the Royal Crawl (Las Vegas’ First Digital Bar Crawl) will be going down, at The LINQ Promenade.

Sure!  Get all Joe Friday about it, and just give you the facts, ma’am.  But what does all that mean?  I’m so glad you asked.

Billing itself as a modern-day twist on the traditional pub-crawl (with a charity component), the Royal Crawl is all about using one’s smartphone both as a game and a guide for an action-packed night of fun!

Aimed at Las Vegas locals, on what some feel is the “best” night of the year to hit the bars, more than 1,000 bar-crawlers are being invited to utilize the Royal Crawl website, and partake of a quartet of free drinks at four of the half-dozen participating bars at The LINQ Promenade (so it’s very self-contained, and there won’t be revelers stumbling blindly around the Strip).

There’s a poker game, built into the Royal Crawl’s site, so crawlers receive a playing card with every bar-check-in and free drink redemption.  Once a crawler has received five cards, s/he will have earned a free go-round on the High Roller Observation Wheel.

Not only is this a $37 value, all on its own, but crawlers will then be in the game, duking it out for the best poker hand.  Those winning hands will be redeemable for more than $5,000 in prizes, from venues at The LINQ, and sponsors including IO Hawk (this year’s hot tech gadget – worth $1,800), an original Tagz1 painting from ISI Group (painted live, during the Royal Crawl), rides on LYFT, concert tickets to Brooklyn Bowl, and a private pod party in the High Roller (for up to 40 peeps – worth $1,600), among others!

There’s even a charity component!  Roughly $5 from each Royal Crawl ticket ($25 in advance/$30 at event) will be donated to Three Square Food Bank.  That $5 will feed 15 people in need.
