This morning, I woke up to seven press releases from Live Nation Las Vegas (by way of Kelly Frey Public Relations).  That’s a lot for any day, but for the last Monday in March, it was mind-boggling to sit and contemplate just how much they’ve got going on.  So, I decided to break all of these music missives down for you, one release at a time.

My Take:  Finally!  Back in 2019, in a world before COVID (and the dissolution of her marriage) Kelly Clarkson announced her plans to launch a residency in April 2020.  Sadly, this did not come to be, because of the global pandemic.  But now she’s coming for ten nights, this summer.  This one is not to be missed!

My Take:  I’m glad to see that Madonna has added a third Las Vegas show after The Celebration Tour completes its UK and Europe leg.  And, unlike her two dates this October, which will be at T-Mobile Arena, this third night will be at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, next January.  That’s a lot of touring, but fear not, because—and please pardon the expression—bitch, she’s Madonna!

My Take:  Paying homage to the music of the ‘80s (in both English and Spanish), and after taking a much-needed break following the conclusion of their successful 250-stop Planeta Retro Tour (2019-2022), the Mexican band, Matute, is bringing its Party Monster Tour to Las Vegas.   And if you don’t think raising the roof to the hottest sounds of the Eighties with Jorge, Nacho, Pepe, Irving, Tana, and El Oso, sounds like a blast, then that’s on you, mis amigos.
