Last week, someone reached-out to see if I’d be interested in writing about a new advertising portal that allowed anyone to place an ad, for pennies, on an array of digital platforms.  Now, I’m not the most technologically-oriented fellow; so, I figured, “Well, if they can explain it to me, with relative ease; then it’s worth sharing with my readers.”

Well guess what?  They did; and now I am!

So, I met ADomni’s John Tobin and Alex Greaner, in front of the Walgreens, on the northeast corner of Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard (formerly the home of Holy Cow Casino & Brewery).  There, we walked to a median, in the intersection; and in less than three minutes from the time I downloaded the ADomni app from the App Store, John and Alex had walked me through their incredibly-easy-to-use interface, and were telling me to “Look up!”

There, above the entry of Walgreens, on full view of all northbound traffic of the Strip, was my logo, on a digital billboard, measuring 14 feet high, and 48 feet wide!  For the next few minutes, my ad ran once every 30 seconds, for 7.5 seconds a pop.  And best of all, the cost was a mere $0.08 for each impression!

In other words, the cost of those six ad-displays that appeared for 45 seconds, came to less than 50 cents!

And the hits just keep on coming; because there’s no agency, no contract, to minimum obligation, and it’s all done through ADomni’s free online Content Creator! (See video, below…)

Now, you already know why ADomni has piqued my interest (otherwise you woudn’t be reading about it, here); so I’m gonna let the guys who run it - John (Sales Manager) and Alex (Marketing and Business Development) - tell you about the moments when they each knew they’d hit on something exciting…

John Tobin:  My “Eureka!” moment happened one Monday morning.  I’d come into the office, and realized the ADomni platform had sold $1,300 in advertising, over the weekend (while my sales staff was off).  We’ve made billboard advertising easy, and we’re always open for business.

Alex Greaner:  As a millennial, I’ve grown up with the Internet. When I discovered ADomni, and researched the current state of the out-of-home industry, a lightbulb went off.  Transactions for OOH advertising were still taking place offline!  As I familiarized myself with ADomni, more and more; the user experience resembled all of the same platforms I use on a regular basis (whether Expedia, AirBnB, Amazon, etc.).  At that point, it became a no-brainer; and I knew I didn’t want to miss the boat.

So, to summarize, it costs pennies (Pennies!) to run your ad on any billboard, taxi top, or Jumbotron – whether on the Las Vegas Strip, in Times Square, or anywhere – so long as there’s a digital interface.  And you can do it all from the app.  ADomni seems like the media buying equivalent of the V-8 head-slap, to me.
