Light and fluffy, with a top of merengue,

Served in a ramekin of pristine white;

Flavored like sweet and roasted peanuts,

You are delicious by day or by night.

A testament to the pastry chef’s skill,

Decadently rich – but not too much;

You’re even better than your chocolate sis’,

Whose cocoa is quite likely Dutch.

Oh Peanut Butter Soufflé, at Spago El-Vee,

You’re the perfect close to any meal.

Just remember that I’m not to gain any weight,

I’m pretty sure, that was our deal.
