Darling Stilettos + Palms = Rock Fun

If Chrissie Hynde had been from the Valley, Joe Strummer had been a woman, the Runaways had come on the scene twenty years later, and the Donnas wore leather... Well, you get the idea - and that idea is the Darling Stilettos. Young, sexy, dynamic, and energetic, Ace, Allie, Gina and Lindsey opened a can of whoop-ass on Las Vegas, in a show produced by rock n' roll drummer Matt Sorum (Guns n' Roses, The Cult, Velvet Revolver, Camp Freddy).

This past weekend, in The Lounge at Palms Casino Resort (a perfect venue for this kind of show) the Darling Stilettos performed, gyrated and grinded to some of the best songs of the rock era (think: The Ramones, Blondie, Bowie, etc.) while the audience cheered and jumped.

Yeah, I love rock n' roll. Sure, Joan Jett said it nearly 35 years ago, but it certainly holds true, today.

With any luck, Las Vegans can look forward to seeing more of the Darling Stilettos at Palms in 2010.
