Diana von Furstenberg has some of the most famous initials in American fashion.  Not only is she the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (an organization for which she is the current President), but her famed knit wrap-dress is so iconic, that it has been added to the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.

Last year, von Furstenberg announced that she would be collaborating with Gap for a capsule collection called DVF ♥ GapKids, consisting of well-made, affordable fashions, designed for girls from infancy through their early teens, that would be available at babyGap and GapKids.

The collection launched last week, and I’ve gotta tell you, it’s cute.  Really cute.  And the price-point hits exactly where you’d expect it to (from $25 for a babyGap Printed Tank to $75 for a GapKids Eyelet Wrap-Dress).

But you'd better hurry, 'cause it's almost sold out; which means, it’s a perfect time to follow the advice of the retailer’s old slogan, and “Fall into The Gap.”
