There are a lot of places to buy precious jewelry, in Las Vegas; but no alcove features a better selection, of the most au currant designs, from the most sought after jewelers, than the Precious Jewels Salon at Neiman Marcus, at Fashion Show.  And, of the many collectable collections, on display in the PJS, few are as imbued with the cool rock n’ roll soul of their designer as that of Stephen Webster MBE (he was appointed a Member of the British Empire, earlier this year). 

On Thursday, October 3rd, Webster – no stranger to Neiman Marcus, or Las Vegas, for that matter (his birthday party is always a highlight of Couture, at Wynn Las Vegas & Encore Resort, each summer) – will be on-hand to meet guests as they press-up into the new FW13 collections. 

And if meeting the velvet-and-leather-clad jeweler to the stars (Christina Aguilera is his longtime muse) isn’t enough to whet your appetite for things that go bling in the night; how about an in-store performance by Bally’s Las Vegas headliner, Véronic DiCaire, star of VÉRONIC Voices? 

The fancy folks partaking of this fashionable evening will be mingling and clinking their way around the gorgeous setting that is Vintner Grill Strip, with its expansive views of the Las Vegas Strip, by night. I’ve been to VG Strip numerous times, and I’m always struck by how beautiful that view is; especially at night – when Las Vegas is at its most lovely. It’s also deceptively serene – when viewed from behind a pane of double-paned safety glass, on the second-floor of Neiman Marcus, where the limestone façade renders any want or need for an ivory tower utterly démodé. 

Cocktails and a show? That’s just how we roll, in the 7-0-2.
