My social cup is gonna runneth-over, this Thursday.  That morning, I’ve gotta be up at the crack of nine, and boogie on down to The Venetian, where I’ll be emceeing the annual United Luncheon benefiting the Women’s Philanthropy of the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas (this year, sponsored by the Brenden Mann Foundation and Destinations by Design).

There’s gonna be a fashion show, where such MOT muckety-mucks as Alexandra and Katie Epstein, Jodi Fonfa and Cari Marshall, Janie and Seth Schorr, Faye Steinberg and Heidi Sarno Strauss, Lauren Molasky Wright and Dale Wynn, as well as a gaggle of Yerushalmis, will be strutting down the runway – all dressed in fashions from Tivoli Village boutique, Vasari.  There’s also going to be a spiel by former UPI celebrity profiler, Iris Krasnow, who not only wrote about the likes of Yoko Ono, Queen Noor of Jordan, Senator Ted Kennedy, Norman Mailer, and the Rev. Billy Graham; but has also penned a number of books on the subjects of marriage and motherhood.

Later, I’m gonna have to skedaddle on home, where, after picking-up the dogs from the groomer, I’m gonna take me a little disco nap; because I’ve just come to that point in my life where naps are required if I have any shot of functioning at a second function.  And that’s precisely the sitch in which I find myself, because that evening is the second annual Hope is Born gala for the Pregnancy Foundation of Las Vegas.  And I’ll pretty much be returning to the scene of the earlier crime, since this affair is occurring at The Act at the Palazzo

Luckily for all of us, I don’t have much on the skedge for Friday; so I can relay to you the goings-on from the day before…
