Now in its third year, Life is Beautiful describes itself as “an inspirational music, food, art, and learning festival, held in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas.”  I prefer to think of it as a kick-ass way to see the very best of what Las Vegas has to offer – as a giant metaphorical stage, upon which performers from around the world can perform.  While certainly focused on performers of the musical variety, like the city, itself; this is also inclusive of the street artists whose murals appear on buildings throughout Downtown Las Vegas; culinary artists from the world’s best restaurants (who, naturally, have set-up shop, in Las Vegas); and the artists who entertain, innovate, and inspire tourists and locals, alike.

Of course, at the end of the day (days?), it’s a music festival; and the team behind LiB (founded by Rehan Choudhry in 2013; a 50% stake in the festival was acquired earlier this year, by Justin Weniger and Ryan Doherty of WENDOH Media) has spent another year gathering the very best live music acts and performers.

Will you go watch the legendary Stevie Wonder jam to his timeless funk classics like “Another Star” and “Superstitious” – or will you wave your hands in the air to Grammy-winning hip-hop artist, Kendrick Lamar, the man dubbed the “Hottest MC in the game” by MTV?

Perhaps you wanna go cheer-on your hometown heros?  There’s no dearth of them, here.  Whether the charismatic Brandon Flowers (backed by his incredible band, including #TheDB on drums); alterna-pop kings, Imagine Dragons; or young electro-disco savant, Shamir – rest assured, Las Vegas is represented, very capably.

There’s no lack of options for the EDM-inclined, with Major Lazer, Porter Robinson, and Thievery Corporation, to name but a few.  Meanwhile, young Turks like Andra Day, GRiZ, and Royal Blood, are guaranteed to flip your proverbial wig with their captivating live performances.

There’s not much time left, and tickets are in pretty short supply (especially those much sought-after All-In and VIP packages); so put a little hitch in your giddy-up, and get your Life is Beautiful 2015 game on!
