Over the past decade, I’ve been thrilled to donate more than a dozen works to the annual art auction benefiting Free Arts NYC – a New York-based organization that provides mentoring programs in the arts, to at-risk children.

What an honor, to walk through the venue (whether Milk Studios, Saatchi & Saatchi, Calvin Klein’s studio, Eyebeam, or the Chelsea Art Museum), and see one of my photos or paintings hanging, lit and framed, alongside works by such legendary artists as Ross Bleckner, Ed Ruscha, Hunt Slonem, Kiki Smith, Terry Richardson, Todd DiCiurcio, Jean Pigozzi, and the amazing Mick Rock!

This year, the event is honoring the work of Scott Campbell with designer Marc Jacobs as the presenting sponsor – small wonder as Jacobs is but one of many bold-print folks sporting Campbell-drawn ink, and successfully collaborated with the New Orleans-born Campbell on an exclusive line of men’s accessories for Louis Vuitton, in 2011.

Anyhow, to quote the fantabulous Laura Wasser, "And now, back to Shulman!" You see, I’m having a bit of trouble making a decision on which photo to donate, this year. I’ve narrowed it down to the four I have put into the slideshow, above; as follows... Slide 3: “Miss Ross in Red” and “Technicolor Cher”; Slide 4: “Donna with YSL Ring”; and Slide 5: “Blurry Diana Sparkles”.

I have another week before I’ve gotta send the selected image of to my photo processor to transfer onto canvas (after which I paint over and enhance details of the image). So, I’m asking you, dear reader; which one should I give – or more specifically, which one is the most likely to raise the most coins for those kids?!?!

Feel free to drop me a line through the CONTACT Page. Or, post a comment, below. Or, write me a message on Facebook;. Heck – send me a Strip-o-Gram (male preferred, but it's the thought that counts...)! But whatever you decide; I can’t decide; so please, help me decide!
