As regular visitors to Barney’s New York can attest, Good Art HLYWD makes some of the finest hand-crafted sterling silver jewelry, in the land. Good Art pieces are solid, substantial, and stylish; without succumbing to faddish frippery – much like Good Art’s founder and designer, Josh Warner.

Imbuing the mundane with luxury is one of Warner’s signatures, found in items ranging from a sterling silver cover for a Mini Bic lighter, customized with a rosette or a single initial ($415), to a skull paperweight made of solid sterling silver with a pair of 22kt gold teeth ($6,915). Furthermore, because everything is made in-house (forget Made in America… Good Art HLYWD is completely made in SoCal!), virtually anything you order via the company’s online store (click HERE) is bespoke.

The rosette is a favorite Good Art icon, and can be seen in the trio of items comprising my GAH wish list. The Model 4 Cufflinks in sterling silver with diamonds ($7,060) are sublime and reminiscent of gothic cathedral windows. The Club Ring in solid 24kt gold with diamonds ($10,650) features a rosette on each side of the shank, and a large rosette in the center – and this is the particularly clever part – with an initial engraved in verso, like a secret signet ring (a la The Scarlet Pimpernel). And last (though in no way least) is the RDC Rosary featuring the Rosette Disc Chain in sterling silver ($1,995). I should add that, as a devout follower of all things sparkly, I’d give a nod to my own “Personal Jesus” and have Josh substitute the Spanish Cross (Light Version) with his version of the Cornuto (that ancient Italian amulet against the evil eye), in sterling silver with white diamond pave ($9,860). Now that’s some religion I could really get behind!
