If, like me, you live for the applause (applause, applause) – but in metered doses, short spurts, and well-conceived sketches involving the most loveable little monsters on the planet – then set your DVR to, well, R, and check-out the LadyGaga & The Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular, on ABC.

Joining Our Lady of Sartorial Surrealism on Thanksgiving night for the 90-minute for an evening of Technicolor puppetry will be a smorgasbord of talent, including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kristen Bell, Sir Elton John, and RuPaul. And with that line-up, you just know the Tea Party is gonna have their panties in a bunch! Sacrilege! Sacrebleu! Sack lunch!

“I was so excited when ABC called me about doing a holiday special this year,” gushed Gaga, via intergalactic holographic transponder. “I knew it just wouldn’t be a complete night of laughter and memories without the Muppets! Can’t wait to see the gang again and I hope Miss Piggy’s still not mad about Kermit. We’re just friends!”

And for those of you looking for more Elton in your life; stop by the just-opened FIZZ Las Vegas – the new champagne lounge, at Caesars Palace. David Furnish (aka Elton’s husband) is the Creative Director, their personal chef consulted on the menu, and the venue is decorated with specially selected pieces from the couple’s celebrated collection of photography.
