I’m so happy that the eleganza has returned; and in such a glorious way, too. One need look no further than two of the country’s most fantabulous boîtes – New York’s tony No.8, and Las Vegas’ swanky FIZZ, at Caesars Palace – for ritzy ragers, inviting you to usher-in 2014 while decked-out in your most sartorial splendor.

Let’s start on the left… The Black Tie Affair, being thrown at the exquisite Todd-Avery Lenahan-designed FIZZ, is the posh venue’s first foray in the New Year’s Eve ring; and is sure to be a knockout. Hosted by those dapper dandies of upscale indulgence, Michael Greco, Steven Kennedy, and Jason Habel; and presented by that original cuvée de prestige, Dom Pérignon – the (very late) night promises to be everything. Where better to show-off those dazzling duds you had made-to-order at STITCHED, fellas?

The Owner’s Table, up on the mezzanine, has already been booked; but for $3,000, you and five of your closest friends, followers, hangers-on, pals, lovers, etc., (really, it’s up to you…) will sit at one of the chic, round VIP banquettes, where you’ll receive two bottles of DP’s world-renowned bubbly, two bottles of Belvedere Vodka, Red Bull, and water.

On the other side the country, past those states where they actually grow things, is the one and only New York, New York – that city so nice you’ve gotta say it twice. And down in the heart of La Grande Pomme, you’ll find the ever-swellegant No.8. There, the dynamic duo of delightful and delicious deliovelies, Amy Sacco and Bobby Rossi (along with the über-cool Lily Cho, Federica Amati, Patrick Seigel, and Jamie Hatchett) are hosting a night of debaucherous revelry that could only be called Beautiful & Damned.

And if you’ve already accessorized your Hades-bound hand-basket, won’t the trip go much more smoothly if lubricated by Maison Perrier-Jouët’s regal Belle Époque (formerly-known Stateside, as “Fleur de Champagne” – in reference to the Art Nouveau-style Japanese anemones painted on each bottle)? Hint: for an extra how-do-you-do, soak-up the Champers, with an order of the delectable Devils on Horseback, or some of those sinfully delicious Deep-Fried Oreos.

So, whether on the LV Strip or in NY City; it’s gonna be a gorgie orgy of festive fabulosity, until the sun rises, in 2014.
