If the thought of pretty people in pretty places talking about pretty things is your bag; then grab your Birkin, and get ready for Berkus; Nate, that is.

The charming founder of Nate Berkus Designs, has many arrows in his quiver, including Emmy Award-winning talk-show host, friend-of-Oprah, and bestselling author.

Now, the globetrotting aesthete is bringing his mega-watt smile to an in-store signing. of his latest New York Times bestseller, The Things That Matter (Spiegel & Grau, 2012), at J.Glenn – the delightful home accessories boutique, at Boca Park, in Summerlin; this Thursday, at 6pm, followed by a spiel about his book and a Q&A with fans.

I guess I should mention the VIP pre-funk that’s being co-sponsored by Artifact (Molly Gaddy Walters’ lil’ bit o’ Williamsburg in Vegas – full of upcycled/recycled/repurposed hipster goodness – in that part of Tivoli Village known as TheMarketLV), where all of the proceeds are going to benefit Habitat for Humanity’s Las Vegas chapter; but since that event is already sold-out, I guess that might be somewhat obnoxious.  Oh wait – so am I!  (Just kidding…  (Kinda...))
